Hi, I'm Kelly
I'm Kelly Sikkema - a graphic designer from the Quad Cities in Iowa.
I've been blessed to be married to Shane (that guy in the picture with me) since 2005.
I'm currently an in-house designer for John Deere by day, and by night, I work on smaller, personal projects
that sharpen my skills. That's what you'll see here - my side projects.
I could lead my portfolio off with saying what types of things inspire me, why I do what I do, or even my design process. But you don't really care about all of that, do you? You want to know what my stuff looks like. So, go on, check it out.

A good computer system is vital to being an effective, productive designer. I use a 27" iMac to
make sure I can see every detail.
I have Adobe Creative Suite 5 - the latest and greatest. It's such a powerful tool, and I learn more
each time I use it.
There's a variety of programs I use for different tasks. For HTML coding, right now I like Aptana, an Eclipse program. If something more robust and powerful comes along, I'm sure I'll check it out. Have something better?
Nothing is more important to a company than it's image. I've worked with a few small
companies to create an identity for them, both in print and online. This includes:
A good web presence is almost required to get your name out there. I've helped
small businesses set up an online identity, including:
I enjoy making things by hand - cards, invitations, you name it,
I like to make it. I've made a variety of things for myself, family
and friends.
